Judith L. Rapoport

Judith L. Rapoport, M.D., is chief of the Child Psychiatry Branch, National Institute of Mental Health. She received the 2005 Edward M. Scholnick Prize in Neuroscience, as well as many other awards, for her research on the brain basis of obsessive-compulsive disorder and other childhood brain disorders and is author of the best-selling The Boy Who Couldn’t Stop Washing (Signet paperback reissue, 1991).
