Martha J. Farah

Martha J. Farah, Ph.D., is Bob and Arlene Kogod Tern Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania. She is author or co-author of six books on cognitive neuroscience and numerous articles about neuroethics, including the first to appear in a peer-reviewed journal, a commentary titled “Emerging Ethical Issues in Neuroscience” in Nature Neuroscience (Nov., 2002). She is a former Guggenheim fellow and recipient of the American Psychological Association’s Early Career Contribution Award and the National Academy of Sciences Troland Research Award.
