Kathleen M. Foley

Kathleen M. Foley, M.D., is an attending neurologist in the Pain and Palliative Care Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, as well as professor of neurology, neuroscience and clinical pharmacology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Foley holds the Chair of the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Pain Research and is medical director of the National Public Health Palliative Care Initiative of the Open Society Institute. She is a past president of the American Pain Society. Dr. Foley’s work focuses on the treatment of patients with cancer pain and advancing palliative care. She can be reached at foleyk@mskcc.org.
