Tamas L. Horvath

Tamas L. Horvath, D.V.M., Ph.D., is chair and professor of the section of comparative medicine and professor of neurobiology and obstetrics and gynecology at the Yale University School of Medicine. His research focuses on the neuroendocrine regulation of homeostasis, particularly in metabolic disorders such as obesity and diabetes. He received his doctor of veterinary medicine in 1990 from the University of Veterinary Sciences in Budapest, Hungary, and his Ph.D. in 1999 from the Attila Jozsef University of Natural Sciences in Szeged, Hungary.
