Design criteria
: Sticker designs must be original work and include the words “Brain Awareness Week 2019” and the URL “dana.org/BAW”

Deadline: The deadline for submissions is Monday, October 15th. Entries must be submitted to stickercontest@dana.org. Please use the email subject, “BAW Sticker Contest.” *To ensure your files are delivered, we recommend that you send your files as a compressed or zip file.*

Eligibility:  The contest is open to members of the public worldwide, but entrants are limited to one design per person. Employees of the Dana Foundation and their family members are not eligible to enter the contest.

Permissions:  Entrants assert that they either own or have the rights to all content used in their designs. Entrants using third-party material (i.e. material not owned by entrant) must have received explicit permission from the owner to use these materials. The burden of determining that any material is not protected by copyright, trademark, rights of privacy, publicity, or any other proprietary rights rests with the entrant. The entrant shall bear the sole liability for any damage resulting from any infringement of copyrights, proprietary rights, or any other harm resulting from such a submission.

In addition, entrants grant the Dana Foundation royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to the images. EXAMPLE: The winning design will be used as the 2019 Brain Awareness Week printed sticker and also in some Brain Awareness Week posts on social media.

Judging: The top five finalists will be selected by Dana Foundation staff in a blind review process. Designs will be judged according to creativity and overall design. The public will then vote on their favorite designs, and tallied votes will determine the top three winners.

Prizes: The first- second- and third-place winners will be awarded cash prizes of $300, $150, and $75 respectively.
