DANA CHAIRMAN UNDERGOES TREATMENT
New York, September 25, 2009 ― William Safire, chairman of the Dana Foundation is currently undergoing chemotherapy to treat cancer, the Foundation announced today. Edward Rover, president of Dana, said, “We wish Bill a speedy recovery and a return to the helm shortly.” Safire is also the “On Language” columnist for the New York Times.
