DANA ALLIANCE FOR BRAIN INITIATIVES ELECTS FOUR NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS
New York, NY, September 29, 2010—Today the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives announced the names of four members newly elected to its executive committee. Supported entirely by the Dana Foundation, the Dana Alliance is a nonprofit organization of more than 280 leading neuroscientists committed to advancing public awareness about the progress and promise of brain research.
The new executive committee members are:

David M. Holtzman, M.D.
Washington University School of Medicine
Jeffrey A. Lieberman, M.D.
Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons
Recognized as leaders in their respective fields, Dana Alliance members are among the world’s foremost authorities on neuroscientific research and clinical neurology topics. Each has made a personal commitment to support the mission of the Dana Alliance through active participation in outreach and educational activities.
The Dana Foundation is a private philanthropic organization that supports brain research through grants and educates the public about the successes and potential of brain research.
