Having just watched one episode of the Charlie Rose's Brain Series I noticed that this series is atypical of Rose's interviewing style. Here, he has to restrain himself from interrupting his learned panelists, whereas on his regular interview programs he shamelessly interrupts, interject, and finger wags. I sincerely congratulate Charlie Rose on his production of this wonderful series on the brain, but wish he would adopt a humbler mien on his regular programs.

I agree with Dr. Eric Kandel that Charlie Rose contributes to refining our understanding of the world around us. He chooses various people to interview who are totally different from one another, makes them feel at ease in front of the camera and brings out in them not only the knowledge in their specialty or field but also their human experience. We all have to thnak Charlie for his contribution. He has contributed to the development of culture in the U.S., something that, in my opinion, needs much attention on the public level.
