There are many other techniques available to stop the growing violence in our schools available on the site as well, such as ProSocial Development Skills, but our educational system is incredibly resistant to new ideas that actually work. These techniques could save lives in the coming years, but many schools are unwilling to even consider them. Preferring instead to institute more of the same changes that have been tried in the past that simply don't work, but they don't require any real change either or the discomfort that comes with it, and that seems to be more important that actually achieving results.
