 As a neurologist turned financial consultant, I see gender differences in financial decision making frequently. It is a plus that the organic reasons are beginning to be scientifically teased out as Dr. Cahill indicated. Though sociological or intrinsic brain differences would be difficult or impossible to change, acknowledgement is the first step to acceptance. This can only lead to the optimization of financial choices for both sexes and a better relationship and interaction overall.
