 I was so surprised to read about chilren having memory loss if their mother had diabetes while she was pregnant. I was one of those mothers and my son (who is now 18) has always had problems remembering things. He has been in special ed his whole life because he had a difficult time recalling information but otherwise is a very talented bright person.
