New York, NY, January 25, 2013—The executive committee of the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives announced the names of seventeen members newly elected to the organization. New members’ specialties include Alzheimer’s disease, computational neuroscience, and gene therapy.
The Dana Alliance is a nonprofit organization of more than 335 leading neuroscientists committed to advancing public awareness about the progress and promise of brain research. Supported entirely by the Dana Foundation, the Dana Alliance does not fund research or make grants. The organization is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The Dana Foundation is a private philanthropic organization that supports brain research through grants and educates the public about the successes and potential of brain research.
