Jay N. Giedd, M.D. is a practicing child and adolescent psychiatrist and Chief of Brain Imaging at the Child Psychiatry Branch of the National Institute of Mental Health. In an ongoing longitudinal study of more than 2000 people Dr. Giedd combines neuroimaging, genetics, and psychological testing to explore the path and influences on the developing brain in health and illness.
