Scouts Healthy Brain Initiative

Share Brain Science with Your Scouts!

This program is now closed. Thank you for joining in the Dana Foundation mission to advance understanding about the brain. Neuroscience, or brain research, is the study of the brain and nervous system.

Planning a troop meeting about neuroscience is as easy as:

Downloading some activities (including puzzles, facts sheets, and lesson plans) from Dana Resources below to share with your scouts.

Choosing an activity for your meeting day. It can be as simple as downloading and distributing the Mindboggling Booklets and puzzle packets available below or as elaborate as inviting a neuroscientist to come and speak to your group about what it means to lead a brain-healthy lifestyle.

Want to try something hands-on? Check out More Resources below to find instructions for the popular (but simple) Mr. Egghead experiment or the brain hat activity!
