Steve Protass

Steve Protass is a financial analyst for the Dana Foundation and works closely with the finance department on tasks including organizing annual audits and preparing tax filings. Steve spent over thirty years of his career working with KPMG and retired as a tax partner. In addition to his work at the Foundation, he is currently a CPA and notary for New York State. He was previously a member of the New York State Society of CPAs, as well as an active board member and former president of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County. Outside of the office, Steve volunteers with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and enjoys playing gold, attending theater shows and ballets, and loves to travel. He was born and raised in Queens and currently resides in Manhattan.
