J. Allan Hobson

J. Allan Hobson, M.D., is professor of psychiatry and director of the laboratory of neurophysiology at Massachusetts Mental Health Center. He has reported his research on sleeping, dreaming, and the nature of consciousness in many books including The Dream Drugstore (MIT Press, 2001). His new book, 13 Dreams Freud Never Had: A New Mind Science, will be published by Pearson Education in fall 2004.
