William R. Uttal, Ph.D.
William R. Uttal, Ph.D., professor emeritus of psychology at the University of Michigan, is now in the department of engineering at Arizona State University, where he studies visual systems and the neural and psychological foundation of human-computer interactions. He is the author or co-author of 16 books, including The War Between Mentalism and Behaviorism: On the Accessibility of Mental Processes (Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, 1999).
