Debra Niehoff, Ph.D., is a neurobiologist and science writer interested in the biological foundations of emotional behavior, including aggression. She founded Biotext, a biomedical communications company, and is author of The Biology of Violence: How Understanding the Brain, Behavior, and Environment Can Break the Vicious Circle of Aggression (The Free Press, 1999).
