Chinmayi Balusu, MPH
Chinmayi Balusu is a second-year medical student and a research trainee at the Neurotech Justice Accelerator at Mass General Brigham (NJAM), a Dana Center for Neuroscience & Society. She is interested in neurosurgery, neuroethics, global health, and STEM outreach. Prior to medical school, Chinmayi was a Neuroscience & Society Fellow for the Dana Foundation NextGen Program. She is also the founder of Simply Neuroscience, a global student-led organization expanding early access to neuroscience through organizing online resources, events, and mentorship.
Chinmayi received a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Humanities and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology (with a focus in neuro-epidemiology) from Columbia University. In her free time, Chinmayi enjoys reading, exploring nature trails, practicing taekwondo, and watching Telugu (South Indian) movies with her family.
