Eric H. Chudler

Eric H. Chudler is a research associate professor in the Department of Bioengineering, the executive director of the Center for Neurotechnology and a neuroscientist at the University of Washington in Seattle. In 1997, with support from the National Institutes of Health, Eric established “Neuroscience for Kids,” a website with information and interactive activities about neuroscience that can be used in the classroom or at home. In 2023, he and his team at the University of Washington were awarded a 2023 Northwest Regional Emmy Award for an episode of the educational program, “BrainWorks,” which focuses on vision and the brain. The program also won an Emmy in 2017 for the episode about exercise and the brain, in the Science and Health category. Eric is also author of seven books, including Neuropedia: A Brief Compendium of Brain Phenomena (2022, Princeton University Press).
