Ethicists and Social Scientists
Neuroscientists
Trainees

This event offers an exciting opportunity to explore the intersections of artificial intelligence, data science, and computational neuroscience.

About the Speakers:

Dr. Anna Schapiro is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on memory, learning, and neural network modeling, investigating hippocampal-cortical interactions and the role of sleep in learning using fMRI, EEG, and behavioral methods.

Dr. Cristina Savin is an Associate Professor of Neural Science and Data Science at NYU. She explores the neural principles of adaptive computation, combining theoretical and statistical analyses with experimental data to understand how the brain adapts to new information.

Dr. Konrad Kording, a Penn Integrates Knowledge University Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, specializes in computational neuroscience, causality in biomedical research, and personalized medicine. Dr. Kording is also the co-founder of Neuromatch, a platform for free computational neuroscience education, and an advocate for open science.
