Gina Gay
Gina Gay has been with the Dana Foundation since 1995. As the Foundation’s controller, she is responsible for overseeing daily accounting and finance operations; managing financial risk and compliance; and assisting the chief financial officer in establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Prior to joining the Foundation, Gina worked in accounts payable with Cable Holdings Inc and its subsidiaries of companies, managing payroll and accounts payable. Before coming to the United States, she worked in the Philippines as an internal auditor with the government-owned corporation Pag-IBIG Fund, ensuring that the company followed proper procedures and functioned efficiently. After college, she worked as an external auditor for Carlos J. Valdes & Co., ensuring clients’ financial statements were fairly presented in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. She graduated cum laude from the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Science in commerce, majoring in accounting. She passed the Philippines’ CPA board exam that same year. Outside of work, Gina loves planning vacations with her family, shopping, and eating out with her loved ones. She was born in the Philippines and has been a New York City resident since 1987.
