A Foundation planning grant for a potential Dana Center for Neuroscience & Society was awarded to the Georgia Institute of Technology in collaboration with the Institute of Neuroethics Think and Do Tank. The vision for the proposed Center was to develop a community of transdisciplinary scholars that are committed to addressing the impacts of neuroscience and neurotechnology advances across all facets of the human endeavor. The planning grant team conducted work across the arts, interactive training experiences, and interdisciplinary research. The work intentionally integrated a wide range of perspectives from various societal positions and disciplinary expertise throughout its activities.
