Grant Information
A Foundation planning grant for a potential Dana Center for Neuroscience & Society, focused on the legal, social, political, educational and healthcare context of neurorights was awarded to Harvard University. The planning grant team created community-engaged research, training, and outreach programs to support the professional development of Postdoctoral, Graduate and Undergraduate Dana Fellows from groups of individuals that have been historically marginalized in neuroscience. The planning grant team integrated a core commitment to advancing justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in its research, training, and outreach activities.
This grant supports the Dana NextGen objective to encourage rigorous, collaborative, and cross-disciplinary work between neuroscience and non-science disciplines to solve complex problems that cannot be answered by neuroscience alone.
