Knowable Magazine (Annual Reviews)

This grant supports “Inside the Brain: A Lifetime of Change,” a three-part series of virtual events examining how neurodevelopment shapes every stage of our lives, from the maternity ward to the end of life. These events encourage and facilitate dialogue between non-specialist audiences and expert scientists, policymakers, and others with deep knowledge and experience on the topics. 

Outcomes include a plan for a virtual workshop series to create deeper engagement opportunities for professionals to understand and apply relevant neuroscience findings in their work. The Dana Foundation funds the development of a pilot workshop that allows professionals to ask questions directly of scientists and discuss neuroscience issues collaboratively, fostering informal learning and building community.
