A Foundation planning grant for a potential Dana Center for Neuroscience & Society was awarded to the University of California San Francisco. The proposed Center focuses on training neuroscientists and advancing the field to anticipate and address the societal impact of advances in neuroscience across diverse and differentially situated communities. The interdisciplinary approach was grounded in lived experiences of individuals and focused on neuroethics training, public policy and community engagement.
